Light Forge Studios was created in 2008 by filmmaking brothers, Jerry, Scott and Mike Thompson. The name originated from the idea that cameras capture Light and we Forge that light into stories. – We love stories!

We started out buying the gear for our own personal art. We’re always working on our own passion projects. – We love making stuff!

So far, we’ve forged 4 feature films and over 50 shorts. We try to make at least 1-2 short films every year. Once the gadgets and the team were assembled, we figured we might as well try to make a little money doing what we love. We weren’t sure what to expect but every year we work with more wonderful clients and talented artists, so the experiment seems to have worked.
