Camera Operator / Grip / Gaffer

From within the shadows, you see a figure with tape on his belt and gloves on. He moves swiftly and quietly behind all of the set lighting. Dacen is a Grip and Electric samurai. That, or maybe just a big Akira Kurosawa fanboy.

Born and raised on the little island of Honolulu, Hawai’i. Dacen moved to Las Vegas in 2017 to pursue his Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Film. During his study, he has achieved two Student Emmy Awards for the Pacific Southwest chapter, and has worked on several feature films and projects mainly under camera and lighting. He now works with Light Forge Studios, where he continues to sharpen his knowledge of the filmmaking craft.
